About Our Babysitters
On initial contact all babysitters undergo the Garda Vetting Process, each applicant provides us with evidence of his/her qualifications and experience in childcare. Experience can range from part-time local babysitting to qualified full-time childcare work.
Background Check: The babysitters’ past performance in working with children is investigated by making contact with previous employers, and documenting key responses, which indicate the capabilities of that candidate. A file is set up on each applicant accepted by minderfinders as a suitable candidate to babysit in a private home, and a profile is then created in the minderfinders on-line database. This profile will be made available to parents/guardians for viewing.
Once a candidate is registered as a minderfinders babysitter, and set up on the minderfinders database, they are issued with a username and password allowing them access to the system, each babysitter is reasonable for keeping his/her availability updated, so that when a family logs the date and time they require a babysitter, they can view a list of their babysitters who are available.
The babysitter babysits for a minimum of three hours during the evening time or at the weekend.
Many of the babysitters listed in our directory are also available, for daytime babysitting, overnight babysitting, hotel babysitting and also babysitting for special occasions such as weddings!
