General Information
Office Hours
Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5.30p.m. We can be contacted on the mobile number 0872041635, outside these times. Please note, this is a backup service, and should only be used in the event of an emergency, queries should be made during office hours.
Food & Drink
Dinner for both the babysitter and the children should be provided if the babysitting session starts before 7 p.m. Your minderfinders babysitter should not be expected to cook. If the session begins after 7 p.m. the babysitter should have access to your tea/coffee making facilities.
Cancellation notice
Cancellation notice is a minimum of 24 hours for any sessional booking, if you cannot give 24 hours advance notice, the three hours minimum rate and travel supplement will be payable directly to your babysitter, arrangements for payment should be made with your babysitter on cancellation of your booking. For weekend or week long bookings cancellation notice is one week, if you cannot give one week's notice the penalty for a weekend booking is the overnight rate, and for the week long booking the weekend rate applies!
Transportation
Your babysitter should under no circumstances be asked to transport your children using their own transport, if your children need to be collected or dropped off anywhere, this must be done by taxi!
Bookings
Bookings should only be made on-line or by telephoning minderfinders, babysitters should never be contacted directly by you(the family). When a babysitter is booked, they then become unavailable to other families, however this information must be logged directly on to our system, in order for it to function efficiently!
